PROBLEM

The marketing team at Winston & Strawn needed a new set of templates built in HTML/CSS to fit with their recent brand refresh.

SOLUTION

I used this project as an opportunity to streamline all of their email designs, and built a template system with easy-to-use “building blocks.”

The building blocks are snippets of code that fit in specific areas of the page. All emails utilize responsive design, and each template supports all snippets.

A UNIFIED SNIPPET SYSTEM

Each template was built on the same skeleton, and featured various snippets of code to insert as needed.

Live code example

For repeating newsletters or seminars, templates were available to generate consistent banners and response buttons. However I generated more than a handful of ready-made images for rapid production of campaign pieces.
